Five Students Graduate from SR1 C.O.O.L.™ Zone – Learn English with Us! Program

Ridgeland, MS – August 18,2025 - SR1 proudly announces the graduation of five student participants from the SR1 C.O.O.L.™ Zone – Learn English with Us! program, a community-based initiative designed to help students strengthen their English language skills and build confidence in both academic and social settings.

The summer session of the program ran from June 2, 2025, through August 18, 2025, during which students successfully completed Level One of the course. Over the past several weeks, participants received personalized instruction, engaged in interactive activities, and built a foundation in English that will prepare them for the next stage of the program.

The following students graduated from Level One:

• Cesar Augusto Velandia Jimenez

• Oscar Alexander Cruz Urbina

• Delmy Veronica Gonzales de Cortez

• Gisela Pacheco

• Sindy Lagos

Graduates of the program not only improved their English proficiency but also developed valuable skills in communication, collaboration, and cultural understanding. The program reflects SR1’s mission to advance education and create opportunities that change lives and strengthen communities.
