SR1 Launches Educational Interview Series: C.O.O.L.™ Talks

Ridgeland, MS – SR1 has launched a new project to further its mission of expanding educational opportunities in Mississippi and beyond—C.O.O.L.™ Talks!

C.O.O.L.™ Talks is an educational interview series featuring a wide range of voices and topics. Guests include Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, who shares reflections on her experiences during pivotal moments in American history, and Temi Sokoya, SR1’s Data Analyst, who offers insights about life in modern-day Nigeria.

“I think this will be a wonderful educational tool—not just for our students, but for anyone and everyone,” said Arin Inge, SR1 Videographer and Video Producer. “I can’t wait to see where this series goes. I’m very excited!”

Production of the series began in early 2020, with many interviews conducted virtually during pandemic restrictions. SR1 continues to research and connect with inspiring guests to be featured in future episodes.

The first episode, highlighting Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, will premiere in mid-November on the C.O.O.L.™ Media Network YouTube Channel. With the tagline “Cool People, Cool Topics, C.O.O.L.™ Talks,” the series promises to offer meaningful conversations and engaging stories for audiences of all ages.
