SR1 has embarked on a new project to further their mission to eliminate education disparities in Mississippi and beyond–C.O.O.L.™ Talks! C.O.O.L.™ Talks is an educational interview series that will feature a wide range of people and topics, from Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, who endured unabashed hatred during the Civil Rights Movement, to our very own Data Analysis Temi Sokoya, who chatted with us about life in modern-day Nigeria.
“I think this will be a wonderful educational tool–not just for our students, but for anyone and everyone,” SR1 Videographer and Video Producer Arin Inge remarked, “I can’t wait to see where this series goes. I’m very excited!”
The series began production in early 2020, with interviews primarily conducted over Zoom due to pandemic restrictions, and SR1 is continually researching and reaching out to potential subjects for future interviews.
The first episode of the series, featuring Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, will premiere in mid-November on SR1’s C.O.O.L.™ Media Network YouTube Channel. With the tagline “Cool People, Cool Topics, C.O.O.L.™ Talks”, this series is sure to be endlessly interesting.
